The first season of this anime tells the story of the transformation of the weakest E-Rank hunter, Sung Jinwoo, when he gets a second chance in life after surviving a mission in a Double Dungeon.
With the help of his new power nicknamed “System”, he becomes a Player who gains access to missions and the ability to level up. As he grows stronger and gains Experience Points (XP), his level, fighting ability, and appearance also develop. Now he was able to fight enemies he couldn't overcome before when he was still stuck at E-Rank. Sung Jinwoo finally transformed into Shadow Monarch in Episode 12. Therefore, episode 13, or the first episode in the second season, is expected to start with the Red Gate Arc.
